She sat near the window where the sun was shining and people on the streets were walking towards their offices, schools and colleges.
Early morning sun made the scenery much more beautiful than it normally is. Trees had orange leaves that were shining golden in the sun grass and leaves were moist with early morning dews. Atmosphere was pleasant not too hot not too cold.
She herself looked no less than any other scenic beauty. She had a Ardénté (Glowing) skin. Early Morning sun enhanced her beauty. Her eyes were blue in colour and it resembled like an ocean. Its depth was such that any person would drown in it easily.
She was wondering how her day would be today at work. She knew that her boss liked her and that he had an eye on her and her performance. She sighed on that thought and started getting ready for work.
She wore beige trousers and white shirt and beige blazer over it. She wore matching accessories and tied her hair into a neat bun with her spectacles on she looked very professional. She had a great figure which she didn't feel the need to reveal it and hid it behind her professional attire.
Her workplace was not that far off but she preferred driving herself to her work place. She reached office at 9.00 am sharp. But she could guarantee on the fact that her boss Mr. Lionel styles was already in office much earlier than she would reach. He had a lean but muscular physique; tanned skin and was more than 6'' ft height. He had hazel colour eyes which were very expressive and flirtatious. He was multi billionaire. He had his business spread across the world. She herself was mesmerized by his personality. But never had a courage to get into a relation with him considering the fact that she was just a secretary and he was her boss.
She also never felt like getting into the relationship with someone though she was 26 and still a virgin. She felt that men are born to hurt women. She did had a relation in her high School days and they broke off with him after 2 months when she found that he was dating some other girl.
She suddenly got conscious when she heard the door open and Lionel was approaching her. She wondered what he would perceive if he saw her staring at him and fantasizing dreams. He came to her desk and said "Good Morning Lorine, How you doing today?"
" I am fine Mr. Lionel, Indeed its been a great day."
"Lorine, I was here to look out for a file on my hotel project, Do you have it?"
She gave him his file and went along with him to his office to note down dictations if any.
She sat down opposite to him and was ready with her notepad and pen. He sat down on his chair going through his file on hotel project which he planned to but in second quarter of the year.
She was there waiting for him to proceed and also her eyes were scrutinizing him from top to bottom. How handsome he looked when he was engrossed in something. The pupil of his eyes expanded. His lips pursed and there was a tinge of smile on his lips and no sign of tension on his forehead. Very calm and relaxed and confident about whatever deals he got into and he had never failed in his deals ever. He was into this business from very young age. Right from small business to huge empire he had handled it all by himself.
He could feel in his nerves that she was staring at him and he just enjoyed it but didn't want to make her conscious.
He suddenly called out her name and started to dictate the letter. She went to her desk after its completion to type the letter and post it to the client. She knew that he was going on a tour for his new project and that she being his secretary would also join him. She felt bit odd being in a strange place alone with him but it was her job and she was responsible to handle her job as well as herself and that she would not allow herself to fall prey of anything or anyone.
After completing her work, She started packing her stuff and was ready to leave at 6.00 pm when Lionel called her in his cabin for urgent dictation on a project and she had to type it and send it to client as soon as possible.
When she entered his cabin Lionel was at his desk looking fresh as usual, even at later part of the day. As soon as she entered Lionel asked her to sit and started dictating the letter. Once that was done, she typed that letter and sent it to the client.
Lionel was packing his stuff and was leaving for the day when he saw even she was ready to leave. He asked her for lift. She hesitated for a moment but she accompanied to his car. All the way Lionel kept on staring Lorine, she was just perfect with perfect figure but why she kept herself aloof from such a great figure behind her loose attire. She was so beautiful that no man would want to miss a chance of being with her. Then what was the reason that she wasn't into relationship yet. Had she had a heart break and that it is difficult for her to come out of it or if she was in a relationship then why can't there be signs seen in her behaviour?
He kept on wondering entire way about Lorine and wished, He would be with her as her partner and he was so attracted towards her that the man who never wanted to get married now wanted to settle down, get married and have kids with Lorine.
"I stay just a block away from here, I wish to walk down". As Lorine spoke, He got back to reality. He asked the driver to stop the car. She got down thanked him and started walking towards her apartment. She should invite him for a cup of coffee but it was too early for her to get too friendly with her boss.........
