Lorine got in the morning. It was already 8.00 and her head spinning. She couldn't remember last night. She got out of her bed and just wondered and tried to recollect what had happened after she reached the hotel. They ordered wine and she got over drunk because she was feeling nervous and upset about what had happened between Lionel and herself at the beach. Then she remembered a dance with Lionel and after that ____ She tried to recollect hard. She ask Lionel to take her back to the hotel and then she couldn't remember anything. What happened last night? Where was Lionel? Did they do something that they shouldn't have and now Lionel is sorry and guilty for what happened last night and could face her? "Oh God! What did I do last night?" She just sat on her bed trying recollect. Then suddenly she heard a knock at the door. She opened the door and found Lionel at the door with the mugs of coffee in both the hands. "Good Morning Lorine! How you doing this morning?" Lionel said cheerfully. She didn't respond back and took mug from his hand and kept it on the center table. She turned towards hi8m with tears in her eyes. "Lionel, what happened last night?" Lionel was shocked. He had nothing to answer. He told hr that nothing had happened last night. But she was not ready to trust him. She started crying loudly.
"Lionel, please don't lie. I know relationship for you means nothing but for me it does. Please don't lie, I won't be able to face myself in the mirror Lionel, I beg you, Tell me the truth".
"Lorine, trust me, we didn't do anything last night. How could I have taken your advantage when I knew that you were drunk. I also know that Lorine you want me and I want you too. But not this way when you are not in your conscious. Though for me relationships were not of importance, but that was my past. After knowing you I have changed my point of view about relationships and trust me I would want to marry you Lorine. Will you marry me Lorine?"
Lorine was shocked. She knew Lionel well but had never seen this side of him and she was touched. Tears rolled down her eyes. She knew he was speaking the truth and would never leave her. She went near him and hugged and kissed him.He held her tight and kissed her too. They left from the hotel next day back to their home. Lionel promised Lorine that as soon as they reached back, he would arrange everything soon and would get married immediately. "Baby, I want to get married to you as soon as possible, I can't wait to have you with me and cherish you and treasure you entire life, have kids with you and a happy home". Lionel said
Lorine laughed at his thoughts and she too wished that they should be together soon. She loved him and was happy that she had him with her.
"Lionel, please don't lie. I know relationship for you means nothing but for me it does. Please don't lie, I won't be able to face myself in the mirror Lionel, I beg you, Tell me the truth".
